HISTORY

Picture
The Oil of the Good Samaritan is based on the renowned Thieves Oil.

In 1413 the Bubonic Plague (Black Death) killed over 200 million people. Legends tell the story of four thieves who were captured and accused of taking the belonging of dying and dead people. When the thieves were prosecuted the magistrate offered them clemency if they revealed how they avoided getting infected while they were stealing.

The thieves said that they were perfumers and merchants of spices, and that they had heard of a special preparation of aromatic herbs which by rubbing it on their hands, ears and temples protected them from disease. This is why it was called Thieves Oil.

In 2016 the name was changed to the Oil of the Good Samaritan, as directed by our Blessed Virgin Mary, and is to be used to protect us now and in the future. In 2022 our business started blending the Oil of the Good Samaritan because we wanted to make sure all Australians who seek this product had access to it. It will help protect us from disease that we will be exposed to now and over the coming years.

SELF CARE

To ensure your body doesn't react with these oils first test the mix on your forearm, wait 25 minutes. If skin reddens, wash with plenty of water and little by little the redness will disappear.  Do not ingest these oils, they are for external use only.

Consult your doctor if pregnant. Make sure you consult a health care provider before using the Oil of the Good Samaritan in lieu of your usual medications.

Keep out of reach of children.

Keep your product in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Do not expose the oils to the air for a long time; keep them in a tightly closed amber colour glass container to prevent them from volatilizing and evaporating.
